GOLDEN GOAL AUSTRALIA “EVERY GOAL EVERY GAME 2006” PROMOTION

 

1.        Information on How To Enter, Conditions of Entry, Prizes and Rules of the Promotion form part of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Golden Goal Australia (herein called “GGA”) will only accept entries received through The Website for The Promotion. Only entries that are successfully recorded on The Website database will be accepted. The Entrant’s submitted entry as recorded through The Website will be considered to be the selected entry of the Entrant. The decision of the administrator is final.

2.        HOW TO ENTER   Entrants must register their required details through the Sign Up registration form located on The Website. Upon registration, entrants must select a team of 16 players from the player list and submit that entry through The Website in accordance with the rules as stipulated in these Terms & Conditions.

3.        CONDITIONS OF ENTRY   Entry in the GGA “Every Goal Every Game 2006” is not open to residents of the Australian Capital Territory(A.C.T). . Entries that do not comply with these Terms & Conditions of Entry are ineligible. Entry in the GGA “Every Goal Every Game 2006” Promotion (herein called “The Promotion”) through The Website is conditional upon playing it within the terms and conditions of play as specified. The promoter, GGA, reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or any entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry.

4.        The promotion commences 01/03/2006. Entries close 5pm AEST on 01/09/2006.

5.        Weekly winners will be drawn and/or declared by 6pm each Tuesday from 04/04/06 to 05/09/06 inclusive; Monthly winners will be drawn and/or declared at 8am on 26/04/06; 22/05/06; 26/06/06; 24/07/06 & 21/08/06; Overall season winners will be drawn and/or declared at 8am on 04/09/06 at : 2 Chifley Square, Sydney, NSW.

6.        The Promotion offers a number of prizes from the prize fund, which include first, second, third & fourth prizes for the overall season; first prize for each of the 5 Game Month winners & first prize for each of the 22 Game Week winners. GGA’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Entrant whose team scores the most points between the start of The Promotion on 01/03/2006 and the end of the season after all AFL matches on 03/09/2006 (AEST), (or after the final premiership home & away matches are played should the draw be changed), will win The First Prize of $2,000 Ebanc Trade Voucher as nominated on The Website. The Entrant whose team scores the second most points between the start of The Promotion on 01/03/2006 and the end of the season after all AFL matches on 03/09/2006 (AEST), (or after the final premiership home & away matches are played should the draw be changed), will win The Second Prize of $250 Ebanc Trade Voucher as nominated on The Website. The Entrant whose team scores the third most points between the start of The Promotion on 01/03/2006 and the end of the season after all AFL matches on 03/09/2006 (AEST), (or after the final premiership home & away matches are played should the draw be changed), will win The Third Prize of $100 Ebanc Trade Voucher as nominated on The Website. The Entrant whose team scores the fourth most points between the start of The Promotion on 01/03/2006 and the end of the season after all AFL matches on 03/09/2006 (AEST), (or after the final premiership home & away matches are played should the draw be changed), will win The Fourth Prize of $50 Ebanc Trade Voucher as nominated on The Website. The Winner of the First Prize will be notified by email and their name will be published in “The Australian” newspaper on 13/09/2006. The winners of the Second, Third and Fourth prizes will be notified by email. Five monthly prizes of $300 Ebanc Trade Voucher will be awarded between 01/03/2006 and 03/09/2006, one each Game Month (see Condition 25 for details), to the entrants whose teams score the most points in any individual Game Month. The winners of the 5 Game Month prizes will be notified by email. Twenty-two weekly prizes of $50 Ebanc Trade Voucher will be awarded between 01/03/2006 and 03/09/2006, one each Game Week, to the entrant whose team scores the most points in any individual Game Week. The winners of each Game Week will be notified by email 

7.        Entries received after the start of the round of games of the AFL season will score points from the first game of the following round of games (player points scored from games earlier in the season will not be added to the player scores of entries received after the first round of games of the season).

8.        If two or more entrants are tied on the same score for any of the prizes offered, the winner will be decided as per the method stipulated in Condition 28 below.

9.        GGA’s decision to any disputes arising from The Promotion is final.

10.     GGA reserves the right to refuse to accept team names that it regards inappropriate in any form. Inappropriate names will not be recognized and the selected team will appear under the entrant’s name.

11.     Entrants must select a team of 16 players from the player list available only in The Promotion.

12.     Weekly scores will be available every Wednesday on The Website based on the AFL matches played between the previous Thursday to Tuesday inclusive. Only the AFL matches played between Thursday March 30, 2006 and Sunday September 3, 2006 inclusive will be eligible to score points for The Promotion. All entrants’ teams will start with zero points on Thursday March 30, 2006. These dates are subject to change should the scheduling of AFL games change 

13.     Entry into The Promotion provides permission for GGA to use the names and team scores, but not the selected teams, of Entrants at its discretion on The Website. It is a condition of entry that Entrants agree to the use of this information in this manner. It is also a condition of entry that these details may be used for promotional and advertising campaigns by GGA. An entrant that does not wish their details to be used for any promotional, advertising or other commercial reasons, should contact GGA through The Website, to have their details withheld from use for this purpose. (www.goldengoal.com.au).

14.     GGA reserves the right to refuse any entry that, in its opinion, does not comply with the rules and Terms & Conditions of Entry of The Promotion. GGA may disqualify any entry. GGA may vary, in whole or in part, the rules of The Promotion and entrants agree that GGA will have no liability and will not be responsible for any compensation due to such variations. GGA will have no liability and will not be responsible for any compensation, loss, damage or personal injury arising from any prizes awarded in The Promotion. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted by entrants without contest.

15.     GGA is not liable and does not accept responsibility for any entrant’s team selections that are not received or which are received but not accepted by The Website; or for the failure of The Website, incorrect or debased data provided by GGA to any entrant.

16.     The rules, content, scoring system, structure, format and Terms & Conditions of The Promotion are all copyright of GGA (Copyright 2006). No information may be reproduced in any format without prior written consent of GGA.

17.     RULES OF THE COMPETITION    There is no limit to the number of entries a person may enter. Entry to The Promotion is free.

18.     The nominated players in the player groups have been formulated by GGA (Copyright 2006). GGA will not accept the selection into a team of any player not in the listed player groups.

19.     Players cannot change groups. Therefore, all teams correctly entered into The Promotion will be valid for the duration of The Promotion, subject to any trades made through the trade period being eligible under the rules and terms & conditions of entry. The player groups listed in The Promotion during the season will not highlight players that are suspended, injured, not available to play or retired. Players that are suspended, do not play or retired will not score points and can only be replaced through the trade period.

20.     Each entrant’s team must be in the following format : 1 player only from each of the 16 groups; and only one player from each AFL club. A player can only be selected once – player duplication is not permitted. Entries that do not conform to these selection criteria will not be accepted for participation in The Promotion.

21.     Entrants will score points as follows : 1 point for every goal by each of the entrant’s selected players, except in the double points rounds. The decision of GGA will be final.

22.     Entrants will score double points as follows : 2 points for every goal scored by each of the entrant’s selected players in each of Round 4 (21/04/2006 – 25/04/2006 inclusive); Round 8 (19/05/2006 – 21/05/2006 inclusive); Round 12 (16/06/2006 – 24/06/2006 inclusive); Round 16 (21/07/2006 – 23/07/2006 inclusive); and Round 20 (18/08/2006 – 20/08/2006 inclusive). The decision of GGA will be final.

23.     Entrants can change players in their selected team(s) throughout The Promotion by participating in the Trade Period on The Website. There will be one trade period for each Game Month at the end of each double points round (See Condition 24 below), which equates to five trade periods throughout the duration of The Promotion. The Trade Period will only be open after each double points round and will close before the first match of the following round. After trades, entrant’s new selected teams will score from the first match of the following round of AFL matches. Player points scored by players from games earlier in the season being traded into a team will not be added to the team score into which they are being traded. Players traded into a team will start on zero points for that team and begin scoring points from the first round after the end of the trade period in which they were traded into the team. Player points scored by players from games earlier in the season being traded out of a team will remain as part of the team score from which they are being traded; however, player points from games scored by players traded out of a team after they have been traded will not be added to the team score from which they have been traded. There are no limits to the number of players that can be traded. Trades may be made by entering the Trade period within the Member’s section of The Website. Entrants are responsible for ensuring that all trades result in a new team in the correct format (see Condition 20 above). Once submitted, new selected teams cannot be altered after the trade deadline has passed, until the next trade period opens.

24.     These are the dates of the five trade periods :

1.     April 26, 2006 – 7pm April 28, 2006 (AEST)
2.     May 22, 2006 – 7pm May 26, 2006 (AEST)
3.     June 25, 2006 – 7pm June 30, 2006 (AEST)
4.     July 24, 2006 – 7pm July 28, 2006 (AEST)
5.     August 21, 2006 – 7pm August 25, 2006 (AEST).

25.     Game Months are the dates over which the monthly based prizes will be awarded. Each game month incorporates a double points round and trade period, as one double points round and one trade period fall within each game month. There are five full game months during the season : March 30 to April 25, 2006 inclusive; April 28 to May 21, 2006 inclusive; May 26 to June 24, 2006 inclusive; June 30 to July 23, 2006 inclusive; July 28 to August 20, 2006 inclusive.

26.     Full details of the competition and top scores will be published on The Website.

28.     In the event that :

1.     two or more entrants have scored the equal highest points during the previous Game Week, the winner of will be the entrant that has the most players score goals in their team for that week and will win the weekly prize of a $50 Ebanc Trade Voucher.
2.     two or more entrants have scored the equal highest points during the previous Game Month, the Monthly Prize of $400 Ebanc Trade Dollars will be shared equally between those entrants.
3.     two or more entrants have scored the equal amount of points during the overall season, the end of season prizes will be shared equally between those entrants. Therefore, the end of season first prize will be shared equally between those entrants that have the equal highest score at the end of the season. The end of season second prize will be shared equally between those entrants that have the equal second highest score at the end of the season. The end of season third prize will be shared equally between those entrants that have the equal third highest score at the end of the season. The end of season fourth prize will be shared equally between those entrants that have the fourth equal highest score at the end of the season.
